 PRACTICE TEACHING

Day-3

Today we started the day with morning prayer at Principal's office. First period I got substitution in 9.C. I just introduced my concern chapter which should be taken in further classes. I got very nice interaction with students. Later I got interval duty. At 4th hour, i had assigned class at 8.C I have taken The Planning Commission and five year plan. I had shown videos and PPT.Students has responded well. I'm feel happy in my work.

'Live without seeing, but be what you are.' Today, January 4th is celebrated us 'World's Braille Day', the birthday of Braille inventor, Louis Braille. " Braille is knowledge , and knowledge is power."                                                     - Louis Braille Today, after prayer the first hour class was taken by Maya Ma'am. She started the topic 'Paradigm Shift'  and also discussed about the duties and responsibilities of a teacher. After the class, Ma'am call up students for singing 2 songs. We all also joined with them. After that session, Principal Benedict sir welcomed the M.Ed trainees from Govt. College of teacher education, Thycadu for their teaching practice. In the second hour, Gibi Ma'am discussed about the 'Maxims of teaching'. She recited a poem for us. First day @ MTTC

  My Very first day in Campus        I have been enrolled for Bachelors in Education in a reputed college in Trivandrum i.e. ' Mar Theophilus Training College'. I always thank God for this blessings. I was little nervous at the beginning of the day but it doesn't lasted for a long because the nature of Mar Theophilus is very vibrant. Teachers and students are having friendly nature. So, I am very happy to study in MTTC.                    It was a rainy day. My first class, first period was taken by Maya mam. Her class started with a song by Kavya about rain. I and the entire student teachers enjoyed it. Then Maya Ma'am taught us about the topic  "Teacher and Education".  She taught us the meaning of education and the characteristics of education.  Then the second period was taken by Ancy Ma'am.   INNOVATIVE WORK As a part of B.ed curriculum, my innovative work was based on the chapter "Our Government" of 8th standard. I prepared a chart of CROSSWORD PUZZLE, where the students have to find the correct words of organs of government.  Students have done the activity with curiosity.....
