 Oath taking day



Today our day began with yoga class. First we discussed about the ayurvedic, allopathy and homeo remedies for asthma, insomnia and headache. After that we learnt different yoga aasanas.

After yoga class we had our optional classes. In the afternoon session the oath taking ceremony of the 66th college union happened. Joju sir is the advisor of the college union 2021-2023. Chairperson, vice chairman, general secretary, arts club secretary, UUC, lady representatives, sports club secretaries, magazine editor and sub editors, association secretaries took their oath. I was elected as magazine sub editor. After that we had an official meeting of the 66th college union with principal and teachers. We discussed the upcoming events to be organized by the union.

'Live without seeing, but be what you are.' Today, January 4th is celebrated us 'World's Braille Day', the birthday of Braille inventor, Louis Braille. " Braille is knowledge , and knowledge is power."                                                     - Louis Braille Today, after prayer the first hour class was taken by Maya Ma'am. She started the topic 'Paradigm Shift'  and also discussed about the duties and responsibilities of a teacher. After the class, Ma'am call up students for singing 2 songs. We all also joined with them. After that session, Principal Benedict sir welcomed the M.Ed trainees from Govt. College of teacher education, Thycadu for their teaching practice. In the second hour, Gibi Ma'am discussed about the 'Maxims of teaching'. She recited a poem for us. First day @ MTTC

  My Very first day in Campus        I have been enrolled for Bachelors in Education in a reputed college in Trivandrum i.e. ' Mar Theophilus Training College'. I always thank God for this blessings. I was little nervous at the beginning of the day but it doesn't lasted for a long because the nature of Mar Theophilus is very vibrant. Teachers and students are having friendly nature. So, I am very happy to study in MTTC.                    It was a rainy day. My first class, first period was taken by Maya mam. Her class started with a song by Kavya about rain. I and the entire student teachers enjoyed it. Then Maya Ma'am taught us about the topic  "Teacher and Education".  She taught us the meaning of education and the characteristics of education.  Then the second period was taken by Ancy Ma'am.   INTERNSHIP DAY - 29 Sports Day Sports day was inaugurated by HM , Sr. Aquina SIC. We also cooperated to conduct different competitions. We have assigned duties. I have duty at finishing point through the day. It was a wonderful experience to me..  We got appreciated by HM, Sr. Aquina SIC....
