Today, January 4th is celebrated us 'World's Braille Day', the birthday of Braille inventor, Louis Braille.

" Braille is knowledge , and knowledge is power."

Today, after prayer the first hour class was taken by Maya Ma'am. She started the topic 'Paradigm Shift' and also discussed about the duties and responsibilities of a teacher.

After the class, Ma'am call up students for singing 2 songs. We all also joined with them.

After that session, Principal Benedict sir welcomed the M.Ed trainees from Govt. College of teacher education, Thycadu for their teaching practice.

In the second hour, Gibi Ma'am discussed about the 'Maxims of teaching'.

She recited a poem for us. It takes me to the memory school days. 

' മുകിലുകൾ മേയും കുന്നിൽ ചരുവിൽ ഒരു അമ്പലമുണ്ടെല്ലോ

അമ്പലനടയിൽ പന്തലിടുന്നൊരു മാമരമുണ്ടലോ'

 

Next session , we gone for optional classes. 

Later we have Ancy Ma'am class, she taught us the Stage of Development.

Things that I understood as a student teacher:

~Teachers should be leaders as well as             managers. 

~Teachers should be approachable. 

~Teachers should build a rapport with students.
